Undiscovered talent invades one of Hollywood's hot spots

Resident DJ at
Nova Express Cafe in Hollywood, Friday Nights 10pm-1:30am

I've always had a love for music as a kid. From break dancing (in the 80's) to singing at school functions. I took music classes in Elementary school for musical instruments, reading/writing music, and choir. All thru Junior High, I was heaviIy involved in choir and musical performances.

After I graduated from high school in '91, I started going to various rave parties and events. During that time, my cousin invited me to experiment with his turntables and records. I always went to his house to mix when I was done studying for my college classes. I experimented with Hip Hop, R&B, and, Dance, (since those were the only records he owned). I played at a few parties that my cousin was Djing. Ever since then, I've always been experimenting with various types and styles of DJ mixing.

Techno has always been a large part of my life ever since I first heard it on Mars 103.1 FM. In '93, I was fortunate to be at an underground house club when a faceless man handed me a tape that said “Jungle” on it. It was a promo tape for a weekly underground jungle/drum n' bass party in LA. After leaving the house club, I popped the tape into my car stereo and that moment marked the beginning of a life changing experience.
Drum & Bass was the missing part of my musical soul. The drums stimulated my brain, and the bass moved me.

Now, I love to DJ beautiful and sensual jazzy Drum & Bass, Progressive Trance, and Tech House for pleasure. I also enjoy other types of music; Trance, House, Two-Step, Trip-Hop, Jazz, Salsa, R&B, Reggae, Eclectic, Alternative, Etc
