Free your heart from hatred.
~
Free your mind from worries.
~
Live simply.
~
Give more.
~
Expect less.
No one can go back and make a brand new start.
Anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.
God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain,
but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Disappointments are like road bumps,
they slow you down a bit but you enjoy the smooth road afterwards.
Don't stay on the humps too long. Move on!

When you feel down because you didn't get what you want, just sit tight and be happy,
because God is thinking of something better to give you.

When something happens to you, good or bad, consider what it means.
There's a purpose to life's events, to teach you how to laugh more or not to cry too hard.

You can't make someone love you, all you can do is be someone who can be loved,
the rest is up to the person to realize your worth.

The measure of love is when you love without measure.
In life there are very rare chances that you'll meet the person you love and loves you in return.
So once you have it don't ever let go, the chance might never come your way again.

It's better to lose your pride to the one you love,
than to lose the one you love because of pride.

We spend too much time looking for the right person to love or finding fault with those we already love,
when instead we should be perfecting the love we give.

When you truly care for someone, you don't look for faults,
you don't look for answers, you don't look for mistakes.
Instead, you fight the mistakes, you accept the faults, and you overlook the excuses.

Never abandon an old friend. You will never find one who can take his place.
Friendship is like wine, it gets better as it grows older.

Happiness on Hold

We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another.
Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are.
After that, we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with.
We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage.
We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together,
when we get a nicer car, we are able to go on a nice vacation, or when we retire.

The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when?
Your life will always be filled with challenges.
It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway. Happiness is the way.
So, treasure every moment that you have and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special,
special enough to spend your time with...and remember that time waits for no one.

So, stop waiting...
--until your car or home is paid off
--until you get a new car or home
--until your kids leave the house
--until you go back to school
--until you finish school
--until you lose 10 lbs.
--until you gain 10 lbs.
--until you get married
--until you get a divorce
--until you have kids
--until you retire
--until summer
--until spring
--until winter
--until fall
--until you die
There is no better time than right now to be happy.
Happiness is a journey, not a destination.
So -- work like you don't need money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And dance like no one's watching.
Sometimes life gets in the way of our dreams.
Daily responsibilities may overshadow things like pursuing an education,
taking up a hobby or changing careers.
But you can always return to a dream on hold,
dust it off and try again.
Surprising Causes of Bad Moods

Here, according to experts, are some less frequent-but just as
powerful-causes of bad moods:

* Over- or underheated rooms. * "Research shows that people
function best when the air temperature is 68 degrees," says
UCLA psychology professor Albert Mehrabian, Ph.D.
If a room is to hot or too cold, your prone to feel more irritable.

* Spending too much time indoors. * Sunlight stimulates the
production serotonin in the brain. This chemical is associated
with feelings of peace and calm. So head outside as often as
possible to benefit from enhancing sunlight.

Happiness is
by Cameron Hodges

Happiness is a comfortable life,
Filled with someone you love and like,
Living together from day to day,
Supporting and caring and finding a way,
Each day that comes you know you can believe,
That each of you care and will always perceive,
Sharing all the good and the bad,
Always trying to keep the other from being sad.
This is what I want my life to be,
And this to me is what happiness is.
